Air Sealing
Air infiltration can account for a large amount of a home's heating and cooling costs and contribute to problems with moisture, noise, dust, and the entry of pollutants, insects and rodents. Properly air sealing such cracks and openings in your home can significantly reduce heating and cooling costs.

Heating and Cooling
Infrared thermography is a well-accepted method of imaging and evaluating the thermal efficiency of building insulation, doors, windows and other penetrations, along with the performance and condition of heating and cooling systems. Temperature deviations which may indicate larger problems are rendered visible, allowing improvements to be carried out with certainty.

Mass Save Insulation Contractor in Worcestor
It is recommended by the Department of Energy that homes within the Northeast be insulated with at least an "R-value" of R49. What is R-value? R-Value is a measure of thermal or heat resistance per inch used in the building and construction industry. Most homes within the northeast have improper insulation types and thicknesses. What types of insulation are there? How does my insulation stack up?

Doors and Windows
Energy efficient door & windows helps keep air where it belongs: outside air, outside and conditioned air, inside. Ineffective doors and windows may have gaps through which air is escaping or may have a minimal insulation value. This of course compromises comfort and energy efficiency.

Mass Save® Program FAQs
What is the Mass Save® program?
Mass Save® is an energy efficiency program sponsored by Massachusetts utility and energy efficiency providers.
How do I get started with Mass Save®?
The first step is to book a no-cost Home Energy Assessment with a qualified provider like Wattson Home Solutions. During the visit, your home is evaluated for energy efficiency opportunities, energy-saving products may be installed, and you receive a report outlining ways to make your home more efficient. The assessment also helps determine which rebates and incentives your home may qualify for.
What kind of upgrades can I get rebates for?
Depending on your home and your assessment, you may qualify for rebates or incentives for upgrades like:
- Insulation and air sealing
- Heat pumps and energy-efficient HVAC systems
- ENERGY STAR® appliances
- 0% interest HEAT Loan financing
- Whole-home or partial-home heat pump rebates
What is the Whole-Home Rebate?
The Whole-Home Rebate offers up to $8,500 when installing a qualifying heat pump system as your home’s primary heating and cooling source.
What’s the difference between whole-home and partial-home heat pump rebates?
Whole-home rebates (up to $8,500) apply when heat pumps become the primary heating and cooling system for your home.
Partial-home rebates (up to $250 per ton) may apply when heat pumps supplement an existing heating system.
Can I get financing for my upgrades?
Yes! Through the Mass Save® HEAT Loan, you may qualify for 0% interest financing (loan amounts vary based on the project and eligibility) for approved upgrades, including insulation, heat pumps, and other qualifying energy improvements.
Do I have to manage the rebate paperwork myself?
Nope! Wattson Home Solutions can assist with the paperwork and help guide you through the rebate process. From your no-cost energy assessment to final installation, we help you navigate each step.
Who qualifies for these rebates and incentives?
Most Massachusetts homeowners who are served by a participating Mass Save® utility (through their electric or gas provider) are eligible. Additional savings may be available for income-qualified households.
