1) Mass Save® rebates for homeowners
The Mass Save® program offers qualified businesses a vast range of rebates and incentives. Thanks to these popular offerings, you can:
- Upgrade to energy-efficient LED lighting and get rebates on fixtures, sensors, dimmers, and smart controls that reduce energy use automatically
- Cut installation costs on high-efficiency air conditioning units, variable-speed drives, heat pumps, and building energy management systems
- Enjoy rebates on ENERGY STAR® certified water heaters, tankless systems, and commercial-grade equipment
- Receive rebates on ENERGY STAR® rated fryers, ovens, steamers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and more for your restaurant or commercial kitchen
And if your upgrade doesn’t fall under its standard rebate categories, Mass Save® offers custom incentives tailored to your building’s needs!
2) Who is eligible for Mass Save® commercial rebates?
Mass Save’s commercial rebate programs are open to small and large businesses, commercial landlords, nonprofit organizations, and municipal buildings and institutions.
To qualify, you must receive your electric or gas bill from a participating energy provider that sponsors the Mass Save® program:
- Berkshire Gas
- Cape Light Compact
- Eversource
- Liberty
- National Grid
- Unitil
3) How to qualify for Mass Save® commercial rebates
Qualifying for Mass Save® commercial rebates is easier than you might think. The first step is to schedule a no-cost energy assessment with a Mass Save® authorized energy efficiency expert like Wattson Home Solutions. During this assessment, a member of our team will review your current systems and recommend eligible upgrades.
Once you’ve decided which improvements to make, we’ll draft a proposal that outlines all available potential rebates. Some of these can even be applied upfront, cutting your financial outlay and saving you the time you’d otherwise spend waiting for your rebates to be processed.
To qualify for rebates and incentives, a licensed professional must complete the installation. Please note that certain systems may require pre-approval before work begins. After installation, you’ll need to submit the necessary documentation or work with a Mass Save® project advisor to complete the process. Once your project is verified, your rebate will be issued—often within just a few weeks.
